This morning I as I walk along the country path I am thinking of
You, Jesus and how You walked when You were here on this earth.
You touched the lives of every oneYou met.
You walked along the seaside and called men to follow you,
You looked up as you walked and saw Zaccheus in the tree.
When wearied in your journey, You sat upon the well
It was a a divine appointment, for the woman You came to tell
The good news of everlasting water that she might thirst no more.
You walked among the children and they sat upon your knee,
As you told them of the Father's love, their hearts were filled with glee.
As You walked road to Bethsaida , You heard the blind man's cry
"Lord, that I might receive my sight". His eyes were opened
and he worshipped you will all his might.
You walked with the widow of Nain and her son was alive again
In the countryside of Gadera You met the man bound with a chain
As the demons met your authority, they had to let him go
You knew the pain of sorrow as with Mary and Martha,
You wept at Lazarus death.
You walked among your chosen people,
yet they knew not why You came,
You bore the wounds of rejection - "my guilt and shame".
You walked in total obedience to the Father's will
And You are callling people still - Saying,
"Come walk with me, today- I am the truth the Life the Way".
