The Treasures in Christ Jesus

My walk this morning seemed uneventful...very still,
cloudy sky overhead. I began thinking, "what do you
have to tell me today,Lord?" Do you have something
more for me? Then I realized that your Word says
that you have given me all things that pertain to life
and godliness....that in You are hid all the treasures
of wisdom and knowledge...and I am complete in
You.. I think about all that you purchased for me,
Lord Jesus, by those stripes on your back from
which flowed down forgiveneness, healing and peace
...and you have given me abundance of grace.. so
it isn't that you need to give me more,it is for me
to understand and appropriate all that you have
already given me. And how do I receive all these
treasures? II Peter 1:4 says that by your great and
precious promises I am made a partaker of your
divine nature. So by child like faith I can walk
today holding to your promises as a child holds
to his father's hand
