Hi everyone, It has been over a month since I have written in my blogspot. I have had a wonderful three weeks in Minnesota and northern Wisconsin. My dog Ruppert ran circles around me again and again. He was so excited and happy to see me. I was thinking this is an example of
how joyous my worship should be...each morning so excited to "walk with
the Lord". Sometimes I make worship so complicated. I am reminded of
the prophets of Ba'al in I Kings chapter 18. They jumped upon the altar and cut themselves with knives when striving to hear from their false god.
Then Elijah just simply asked that God make himself known to the people for who He is. The focus in worship isn't what I can do to "work up God's
presence" but in childlike faith and exuberance let praise flow from my
spirit as I worship God for who He is.
