Standing

Today has been rainy ; I did not go for a walk.
Praise the Lord for the good rain. It has been
very dry here. The Lord gave me a song,

Standing in the presence of the Lord
Standing in the presence of His love
Bowing at Jesus feet, the enemy must retreat,
Standing in His power, standing in His might
Standing day and night, Jesus is my light.

I do not stand alone, for you are with me
You are my refuge , my hiding place;
My light in the dark, I will not be afraid.
My hope in time of trouble,
My strength when I am weary.

Jesus I will stand for you,
To You I will be true;
I will not deny Your Name
To You shall be all fame.
By Your power divine
My faith shall not decline.

"Finally my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the
power of His might. Put on the whole armour of God
that you might be able to stand against the wiles of the
devil ..Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of
God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day
and having done all to stand." Ephesians 6:10-11,13
