As I walked I glanced through the woods noticing
that there was quite a large clearing where I
could see for a distance if there would be a wild
animal. When I was by the gate I looked back into
the field and could imagine what I would do if a
panther came bounding across the field toward me.
Could I hide behind the huge hay bales? Not really.
I thought about the Lord's protection. Then I saw
a little leaf falling to the ground. I thought
about how the Lord said He even sees the little
sparrow that falls to the ground. He also said,
"So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow
for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of
its own. Sufficient for each day is its own
trouble." (Amplified version) In other words I
need not be looking for evil but rather looking
to Jesus, the author and finisher of my faith.
